Web Architects is responsible for the personal data described below. Questions about your data can go to the email address above.
What we collect and why
Contact form. When you send a message, we receive your name, your email address and your message. We use these only to reply to you and, if you want to work together, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering questions.
Booking a call. The "Book discovery call" button opens our Google Calendar booking page. The details you enter there (such as your name and email) are used to plan and hold the call, and Google sends you the confirmation and the meeting link.
Visiting the site. The site uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address briefly to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Who processes data for us
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) forwards contact form messages to our inbox.
- Google Workspace hosts our email, where your messages arrive.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Google Calendar (part of Google Workspace) handles bookings when you schedule a call.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, your data is transferred under the safeguards these providers offer, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and booking details for as long as we are in contact, and delete them at the latest two years after our last contact. If you become a client, project and invoice records are kept for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to limit its use, to object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Send your request to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
